About Oak25

The two young founders, Emil and Jacob, came up with their Oak25 backpack in their parents' bicycle cellar. As children from Hamburg, they were aware of the dangers of road traffic at night and during dusk. Therefore, they designed their first Oak25 backpack at the ages of just 15 and 16. They added a reflective surface and immediately felt much safer. They had been advised to wear reflective vests, but people need backpacks for many purposes—so why not make one that is safe for traffic? This is the basic idea behind Oak25. For their first development, the two young entrepreneurs sacrificed their pocket money, but this was not enough for production. So, they launched a crowdfunding campaign for the Oak25 project, which raised the required starting capital of 20,000 euros in just a few days!

The Oak25 backpack reflects car headlights excellently and over a large area, making its wearers smart and safe in everyday life. Moreover, it is highly functional in every respect.
